Silicone moulding rubbers are now widely used within the film and theatre industries for the reproduction of materials for sets and the creation of special effects. CHT silicone materials have been used extensively throughout the industry in production of major films and stage shows.
These RTV silicone rubbers cure at room temperature and come in a 2-part system, these flexible moulds will reproduce the finest of detail. The original object can then be cast in either resin or plaster for use on the stage or film set.
CHT Silicone moulding rubbers come in a range of hardness’s between 6 and 70 Shoe A. Our condensation cure rubbers are high tear rubbers and ideally suited to the moulding of intricate shapes.
